DC Architects Sdn Bhd is currently seeking Assistant Architects to join its team, with available positions in Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur. This role is ideal for young architectural talents who are ready to build their professional journey through design support, drawing preparation, documentation and real project exposure.

Working within an established architectural practice, the Assistant Architect will support project teams across different stages of architectural work, from design development and presentation preparation to technical drawings and coordination tasks. This is a strong opportunity to learn from experienced architects while contributing to projects across residential, commercial, industrial and institutional sectors.

Typical responsibilities of an Assistant Architect include:

• Assisting in architectural design development and project documentation
• Preparing presentation materials, drawings and design support documents
• Producing architectural drawings and technical documentation
• Supporting coordination with internal team members, consultants and project stakeholders
• Assisting in submission documents and project follow-up tasks when required
• Participating in design discussions, project meetings and coordination work
• Ensuring drawings and documentation are organised and aligned with project requirements

Requirements:

• Architecture background or relevant qualification
• Good design sense and willingness to learn
• Able to prepare drawings, presentations and project documentation
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit / BIM, SketchUp or related architectural software will be an advantage
• Able to work independently and collaborate within a team
• Responsible, organised and attentive to detail
• Portfolio submission is required
