QLO Associates is currently seeking a Part I / Part II Architectural Assistant to join its growing studio in Petaling Jaya. The role is suited for a proactive and independent individual with at least 1 year of experience who enjoys design development, architectural drawings and the process of turning early ideas into clear, workable design solutions.

As a young practice, QLO Associates offers an environment where learning, contribution and initiative matter. The selected candidate will be involved across different stages of project work, from design exploration and presentation to documentation and coordination, while gaining practical exposure in a hands-on studio setting.

Typical responsibilities of a Part I / Part II Architectural Assistant include:

• Assisting in architectural design development and preparation of drawings
• Producing presentation materials, technical drawings and project documentation
• Supporting design coordination with the project team
• Assisting in project submissions and documentation when required
• Coordinating with consultants, contractors and suppliers when needed
• Supporting project and site coordination during different project stages
• Ensuring drawings and documentation meet project requirements and standards

Requirements:

• LAM Part I or Part II architecture background
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience
• Familiar with AutoCAD and SketchUp
• Proactive, independent and willing to learn
• Good sense of design and attention to detail
• Able to work well with a growing team
