Design Architect Wanted – Bring Concepts to Life with MIE Industrial!

MIE Industrial Sdn Bhd is currently seeking a Design Architect to join its Puchong team, supporting the company in shaping design concepts for real development projects. This role is suited for a creative architectural talent who enjoys ideas, sketches, presentations and the process of turning early design thinking into something clear, visual and buildable.

The Design Architect will be involved in developing project concepts, preparing presentation materials and shaping the overall look and feel of selected projects. This is an opportunity for someone with strong design instincts, confident software ability and a solid portfolio to gain exposure to real development work while growing within a project-driven environment.

Typical responsibilities of a Design Architect include:

• Developing design concepts, sketches and architectural ideas for project proposals
• Preparing presentation materials, design boards and visual communication packages
• Supporting the overall look, feel and design direction of development projects
• Using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe or related tools to communicate design intent
• Working with the project team to translate design concepts into practical project directions
• Presenting design ideas clearly to internal teams, clients or project stakeholders when required
• Refining design proposals based on feedback, project requirements and development direction

Requirements:

• A few years of relevant experience in architecture, design or related project work
• Experience from developer or consultant side will be an added advantage
• Strong in design thinking, concept development and presentation work
• Good software ability, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe or related tools
• Solid portfolio showing design capability and project experience
• Good speaking and presentation skills
• Chinese language ability will be an added advantage due to projects related to Chinese design elements
• Willing to grow and gain exposure in project management-related work
