Description

O2DA + CPLA is currently seeking young Part 2 Graduate Architects to join its architectural team. This role is suited for emerging architectural talents who want to grow within a design-led studio that values ideas, context, climate response and the process of turning design thinking into meaningful built outcomes.

Working within a practice that explores architecture, interiors, landscape and integrated design, the selected candidate will gain exposure to design development, drawings, presentations, documentation and project coordination. This is a suitable opportunity for a Part 2 graduate who wants to learn through real project involvement while contributing to work that requires both creative thinking and technical clarity.

Typical responsibilities of a Part 2 Graduate Architect include:

  • Assisting in architectural design development, concept studies and spatial exploration
  • Preparing drawings, presentation materials and project documentation
  • Supporting design coordination with internal team members and project stakeholders
  • Helping translate design ideas into clear architectural information and buildable direction
  • Participating in studio discussions, design reviews and project coordination work
  • Maintaining organised drawings, files and documentation across different project stages
  • Supporting the team with a proactive, responsible and willing-to-learn attitude

Requirements:

  • LAM Part II / Part 2 Graduate Architect background
  • Strong interest in architecture, design development and built environment projects
  • Able to prepare drawings, presentations and project documentation
  • Good design sense, communication skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work well in a team-based studio environment
  • Responsible, proactive and open to learning through project work
  • Resume and portfolio submission is required
